Story: Mel's hunger for adventure is hardly satisfied when the TARDIS materializes in a freezer centre on the trading post of Iceworld, planet Svartos. Fortunately for her, she and the Doctor soon run into Sabalom Glitz, whose spacecraft has just been confiscated and is in need of a great deal of money. And Glitz knows just the thing - the treasure that is buried somewhere in Iceworld, guarded by a dragon.

Unknown to Glitz, he is being watched. Kane, the master of Iceworld and a man whose natural body temperature is below freezing, has been a prisoner on Svartos for quite a while, and he has his own plans for the dragon's treasure. He is hoping that Glitz will find it for him, and if he does, nothing will stop Kane from taking it by force.

Eagerly aided by Ace, a waitress with a penchant for explosives, the Doctor, Mel and Glitz go in search of the treasure. But with the villainous Kane to contend with, as well as frozen zombie mercenaries and a dangerous dragon, their task will put them in great personal danger.
