Story: South America, 1988: A group of neo-Nazis, led by a man named de Flores, plot the takeover of the world and the commencement of the Fourth Reich. De Flores has in his possession a bow made of gleaming silver, instrumental to his plans.

Windsor, 1638: Unscrupulous noblewoman Lady Peinforte and her manservant Richard are preparing to embark upon a trip to the future. Once the scholar in her employ has figured out their target destination, Lady Peinforte plans to use her knowledge of black magic and time travel to whisk herself forward in time. Packed for the journey are a supply of poisoned arrows...and one special arrow made of gleaming silver, instrumental to her plans.

The Doctor and Ace are having a leisurely day, whiling away the time listening to a jazz concert, when the Doctor's alarm beeps to alert him that something urgent needs doing. Lady Peinforte and de Flores are converging on Windsor for the same reason, as is a concealed third party...and if they get hold of the meteor that is rapidly approaching the Earth, it will mean the destruction of the entire planet.
