Story: Rose Tyler lives a fairly humdrum life - her mother is overbearing, her boyfriend is a bit of a pain, and her job at a London department store is anything but exciting... until the day that the mannequins in the basement come to life and attack her.
When Rose is rescued by a man named only the Doctor, who then obliterates the department store and her job along with it, she decides to do some sleuthing and learn the true identity of her mysterious saviour. But Rose's investigation will lead her into the very heart of an alien attack on the Earth...
