Little is known about the Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe, except that it seems to be a unique being (a title, rather than a species name, perhaps?) and it is brilliant enough to control and manipulate (or, as it would put it, "shape and guide") the entire human race to suit its purposes. The Jagrafess is itself a servant of the Daleks, who installed it at the very top of Satellite Five around the year 199,909. The Jagrafess controls Satellite Five for 91 years, manipulating the news broadcast to the human race in order to create a climate of fear. Technological advances are held back and aliens are gradually phased out of the human sphere of existence. The Jagrafess maintains such a precise control over the news that it can keep the borders closed, destabilize economies, invent enemies and change votes. It also ensures that the human race is implanted with chips, through which it can control people even after their death.
Physically, the Jagrafess is a large fleshy blob, dripping with slime, possessing no visible appendages - only a large mouth full of thin, sharp teeth, and two small beady black eyes. It can speak (albeit unintelligibly to most), and it has the ability to kill people through an unknown mechanism possibly akin to freezing. It (or its species) generally lives for around 3,000 years, and is very resilient, being at least impervious to blaster fire.
Because it has such a large body mass, and a peculiar metabolism related to its long lifespan, the Jagrafess produces enormous amounts of heat, although it needs to stay cool to survive. On Satellite Five, the excess heat is channeled down through the station while the upper floor is kept cool to the point of freezing. Upon learning of the Jagrafess' stranglehold over humanity, Cathica - one of the Satellite Five journalists - reverses the heating pipes, causing the systems to fail, temperatures to rise, and the Jagrafess to explode.
