- Review added: Full Circle
Thus ends Round 3, after just over four years (!). I would've had this done weeks ago, if Gmail hadn't gone and wiped my first draft. It's amazing what a staggering loss even six paragraphs can be... I don't know how Ben Aaronovitch coped when the entirety of So Vile a Sin was wiped! Oh, and a big hello to Gareth Roberts; "it's an honor to have you as a reader" doesn't even begin to cover it!
20 December 2011
- Review added: Revenge of the Cybermen. Would've been finished a little faster if I'd remembered to save my notes on episodes 2 through 4 the first time, before my laptop rebooted itself and erased them all!
11 December 2011
- Review added: Planet of Giants. This may well turn out to be my last-ever review from a VHS tape!
04 December 2011
Visits from friends and the need to track down a pesky quote have gotten me backlogged again! Actual dates of completion for these reviews are: The Girl Who Waited (September 18), The God Complex (September 23), Closing Time (October 09) and The Wedding of River Song (October 20, with a couple of updates thereafter).
27 July 2010
Wow, did Hong Kong slow me down or what? I was able to keep up with the reviews more-or-less on time (until the finale; The Big Bang aired as I was flying home, and then I had to play a lot of catch-up), but I ran out of time to prep all the accompanying episode pages, so I figured I'd just wait and upload them all at once. Actual dates of completion are: The Hungry Earth / Cold Blood (June 6), Vincent and the Doctor (June 16), The Lodger (June 24) and the big delay, The Pandorica Opens / The Big Bang (July 25).
29 May 2010
- Review added: Amy's Choice (it's been done since last Sunday, I just haven't had a chance to upload it!)
- Episode page added: Amy's Choice
10 March 2010
- Decided to join the twenty-first century (in all respects bar HTML design) and launch the site on Twitter. If you'd like to be alerted when new reviews are posted, I'll be announcing them there.
23 March 2008
- Review added: The Gunfighters. (My poor VCR finally got mostly-fixed last month, but the delay derailed my regular review schedule! And here comes season 4...)
28 January 2008
- Review added: The Claws of Axos. (My VCR may be unfixable, owing to a lack of parts suppliers! Waaah!)
22 January 2008
- Review added: The Stones of Blood. While my poor sick VCR is in the shop getting fixed, I'm limited to stories I can review off DVD. (Fortunately, they said it would be fixed in about 4 days... but that was on the 14th.)
- I also finally got around to changing the e-mail graphic on my main page. That silly Hotmail account keeps lapsing on me and erasing all my e-mails because I never think to check it, and I know I've at least missed an e-mail from my elementary-school friend Peter, so better to get it changed and not have to worry about such things any more.
04 January 2008
- Review added: Terror of the Vervoids. Delayed more than a little when my tape decided to become unplayable halfway through!
09 December 2007
- Review added: Silver Nemesis. And with that, I have finally completed Round 2!
08 October 2007
- Review added: The Robots of Death (this was meant to be a happy-third-anniversary review, but time got away from me...)
30 May 2007
Finally posting a backlog of reviews!
18 December 2005
- Massive ninth-Doctor updates: new pages on the ninth Doctor, Rose, Adam, Jack, Cassandra, the Gelth, Slitheen, Jagrafess, and Reapers. And updates to a whole host of others. Roll on David Tennant!
04 September 2005
- Review added: The Enemy Within, which also marks my first review milestone: finishing one for each season of the show. Bring on Round 2!
29 May 2005
Okay, this one was a long time coming... it took me a while to figure out one of the quotes in Planet of the Spiders was by Barnes, so I've been backlogging the other reviews until I could get that one done!
25 July 2004
- Six years to the day after I began this site, it's finally being launched. And just in time for me to prepare for massive updates once the adventures of the ninth Doctor start airing. That would've been a cool thing to know about six years ago, huh?
Back to the main page.
