Story: Following their return from the Land of Fiction, the Doctor, Jamie and Zoe find themselves safe and sound back in the normal universe as the TARDIS reforms - but their feeling of safety is short-lived, for they have rematerialized above the dark side of the moon...and someone fires a missile straight at the TARDIS.
The Doctor manages to narrowly escape the missile, and puts the TARDIS down on Earth, but one of the circuits malfunctions, causing the ship to become invisible. Theorizing that they are in twentieth-century England, the Doctor decides to pay a visit to their old friend Professor Travers and see if he can help them with their circuit. Unfortunately, Travers is out of the country; his residence is being occupied by his colleague Professor Watkins, and his niece Isobel, who tells the Doctor that her uncle has been sequestered away for a week to work on a project for International Electromatics, the world's biggest electronics manufacturers.
Naturally, the Doctor wishes to investigate; and naturally, something sinister is going on at International Electromatics. The head of the company, Tobias Vaughn, is in league with the aliens behind the moon. They plan to invade the Earth, and Vaughn plans to rule it. Fortunately for the Doctor, Jamie and Zoe, they have the help of the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce, led by Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart...but even with all their combined might, it will not be easy to take down the leader of a powerful international corporation. Especially when his allies are even more powerful...
