Story: When the TARDIS lands in Tombstone, Arizona, the Doctor's main priority is to find a dentist to extract a painful tooth. Steven and Dodo soon realize that they have landed in the Old West, and while the Doctor worries that good dentists may be hard to find, their spirits are high.

Unfortunately, the TARDIS has brought them to Tombstone at just the same time as the infamous Clanton brothers. And the dentist that the Doctor eventually finds is the same man that the Clantons have come to Tombstone to kill. Even worse, the Clantons do not know what Doc Holliday looks like...but the description they were given fits the Doctor to a tee.

While the Doctor is stalked by the Clantons, Steven and Dodo are forced to perform, at gunpoint, by a crowd under the impression that Dodo is a piano virtuoso and Steven a magnificent singer. Soon both Steven and Dodo are taken prisoner by various factions, and when a famous gunslinger arrives in town, it is only a matter of time until the climactic showdown...

Notes: This is the last story to feature titles for the individual episodes. Starting with The Savages (AA), episodes are simply numbered.
